This is a great web site for researching various careers and their income potential.  Data compiled by the government offers info on training needed, as we as future forecasting for tons of careers...a must see to check out any careers being considered!

Career Assessment Site 
Looking for a variety of online tests that can help a teen think more concretely about their future, while utilizing their strengths, aptitudes, and desires?  This is the place to check out!  A fee is charged for each test, but these are comprehensive evaluations that you would pay for anywhere else as well.

A great link for kids seeking employment, this web site contains email etiquette, links to job search guides, and much more helpful information to train for all important job searches!

​College in Colorado - Career Planning
Don't worry if you are not from Colorado, this web site is for anyone, and it offers some links in its career planning section to some incredibly insightful quizzes, which then offer list upon list of very appropriate career choices based upon your answers.  This can be especially helpful for those who really have no idea what career they might be well suited for, or what they might even like to do!  With questions that range from obvious to subtle, various personality profiles are developed and a young person can see themselves through new eyes.  This is a great website to explore, and should your child be interested in attending college, even if not in Colorado, there are easy to use planning tools for their use there.

It offers "the world's best career test" and then shares with you how the results align with over 800 careers!  These are not all Blue Collar careers, but this is a really great resource and might help your learner think with more clarity about their future.

Triangle Education Assessment
If you are interested in career testing that is fee based and nationally recognized, then Triangle Education Assessment will fit the bill for you.  They offer other academic testing for homeschoolers, and career development testing is a small part of their business.
